Cariboo Rose Resources Discovers New High Grade Copper Occurrence in Southeast BC

Vancouver, BC, December 2, 2014 – Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: CRB) (“Cariboo Rose”) is pleased to report a discovery and subsequent staking of high-grade copper mineralization in southeastern BC, called the Torrential Claim.

The discovery, while still the early stages, was made in late September while following up a report in provincial Minister of Mines reports dating to the period around the First World War. Several grab samples were taken in the September site visit from a cliff located approximately six km north of the Skookumchuck River. One sample returned an analysis of 6.7% copper and another 1.1% lead and 0.14% zinc. Mineralization in the sample occurs as disseminations and fracture fillings in feldspar rich dykes that intrude middle Proterozoic age Purcell Group sediments. The September site visit was following up a reference in the 1918 Report to the British Columbia Minister of Mines to a “20 foot wide iron pyrite covered ledge recently discovered on the Skookumchuck River” and a reference in the 1921 Report to the British Columbia Minister of Mines (probably the same occurrence) to a sample assaying 11% copper over a width of four feet. While the new discovery is not interpreted to be the occurrence referenced in 1918 and 1921, it is assumed to be within a few km of it suggesting that the area in between has significant potential.
